RAY-BAN***** THE AMERICAN CREATION TO THE WORLD**

Ray-Ban the coolest sunglasses in the whole world! Well l think l’m the luckiest girl Eva! This past week Fashion on Rock received a lovely email from the Ray-Ban team, saying that they really enjoyed reading my last post about the aviator sunglasses, it made my week sweet, THANK YOU!!! So after all this love by the Ray-Ban team, l diced to share my two favorite sunglasses that l won’t live without for nothing in this world, the aviator style and the Wayfarer style. Founded in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb, the first sunglasses were created for the U.S Army Air Corp. The Army was looking for a sunglass to protect aviators from the damaging rays of the sun, also with classy and elegant style. The rest is history, as the popularity of the Ray-Ban all over the world. From models, movie stars everyone has a chance to ROCK a aviator sunglass*

The Ray-Ban Wayfarer debuted in 1952 and were incredible popular throughout the 50’s and 60’s and became popular again after being sported by Tom Cruise in 1983’s “Risky Business” In 1983, the company sold an amazing 360,000 pairs of the sunglasses. In the coming years, Ray-Bans would appear in a series of 80s hits, including Miami Vice, Moonlighting, and The Breakfast Club. Sales reached 1.5 million. In the Eighties, Ray-Bans and Ray-Ban Wayfarers could be seen on everyone from Madonna to Michael Jackson, Elvis Costello, Morrissey, The Ramones, Blondie's Debbie Harry, members of U2, and other celebrities like Jack Nicholson, Kate Moss and Vogue-Editor (and "The Devil Wears Prada" muse) Anna Wintour. Having a sunglass by Ray-Ban is the must to be considered a cool girl, the Aviator style and the Wayfarer are classic, chic, makes any look modern and unique*unique as Ray-Ban, will be here forever*
